Both woven and non woven polypropylene bags are made from recycled plastic. The difference is in how they are built. To make woven polypropylene plastic threads are woven together in a more traditional manufacturing process to create a durable material. To create non woven polypropylene plastic fibers are bonded together. In both instances the fabric is durable, and when used to make reusable bags they will deliver years of dependable use.

Actually difference between Non Owven Fabrics Items and Non Owven Prolrproplene Items.
Does Maharashtra Govt banned both or not??
Hi there, Sharad! It seems that any type of non-woven bags are banned under the Maharashtra ban, based on this: https://india.mongabay.com/2018/05/09/will-maharashtra-be-able-to-implement-the-plastic-ban-effectively/
Basically, bags made from plastic, even if it’s recycled plastic, are banned. So both bags made from both would be banned. I think bags made from cotton, jute or bamboo will be allowed but certainly, check with the local officials for verification. – Shane
can you put iron on designs on this product?
DOES MAHARASHTRA GOVT BANNED WOVEN BAGS TOO AS ITS FABRIC AND THEY SAID USE CLOTH BAGS, AND SYNTHETIC CLOTH TOO MADE OF PLASTICS ALSO ITS NOT MENTIONED IN RULE ABOUT PP WOVEN FABRIC BAGS, ONLY PP NON WOVEN FABRIC BAGS ARE MENTIONED AS BANNED ITEM. PLEASE SUGGEST FOR THIS
We are looking into this for you! Shane
The best we could find is that Maharashtra ban covers the manufacture, usage, sale, transport, distribution, wholesale and retail sale and storage, import of plastic bags with or without handle, and disposable products made out of plastic and thermocol.
We just are not sure if polypropylene bags fall into this distinction but feel they may. Jute bags are allowed under the ban. Shane
Can woven and non woven polypropylene be machine washed?
Hi, Natalie, and thank you for the question. Neither one can be machine washed. Woven PP can easily be wiped out and cleaned. It is also a stronger material than the NWPP. Hope that helps. Let us know if you have any further questions. We are always here to help. Have a great week. SS
